I am an author and linguist living in Eslöv, Sweden. I am also Senior Lecturer in Chinese at Lund University.

My dissertation was about Isms and Ideology in Modern Chinese. I am currently working on the Dungan language, a variety of Sinitic/Chinese spoken in Central Asia.

My research interests include: linguistics, rhetoric, conceptual history; natural language processing (NLP), computational linguistics; Chinese language and history, Dungan language and culture, Arabic, Islam; translation, translingual practice; ontologies, classification; second language acquisition; key concepts, key words.
